Chucky Buddi doll from Child's Play on display...
This summer horror icon 'Chucky' received a remake and reboot in a new version of Child's Play, with the killer doll voiced this time around by Mark Hamill. This modern take on the 1988 film of the same name sees the 'Buddi' toy doll with violent tendencies upgraded into a high-tech version designed to be a life-long companion, but instead is back to wreck all-new terror on an unsuspecting family and their friends in Chicago.
This Buddi doll prop (in the film manufactured by the multinational Kaslan Corporation in Vietnam) was photographed in the foyer of ArcLight Hollywood cinema on June 28, 2019 (not the best images with all the display case reflections I'm afraid).
