Harrison Ford's President Thaddeus Ross movie costume from Captain America: Brave New World on display...

In Marvel Studios Captain America: Brave New World Harrison Ford takes over from the late William Hurt as 'Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross', the newly elected President of the United States of America and oftentimes thorn in the side of the Avengers and 'Bruce Banner', the 'Hulk'. In this latest MCU entry he offers Anthony Mackie's 'Sam Wilson', the current 'Captain America', the chance to reform the Avengers in light of recent cosmic events like The Blip and the mergence of Celestial Island in the Indian Ocean. Secretly Ross has been keeping the gamma-powered mastermind 'Dr. Samuel Sterns' aka 'The Leader' imprisoned and using him as a human think tank, but the supervillain has turned the tables on his captor and has been manipulating the new President and feeding him gamma radiation pills to turn him into the 'Red Hulk'.

After being a wartime general, Ross wants to be considered a wartime President and wears this costume aboard the USS Milius in the Indian Ocean where Japan has moved their fleet to stake their claim on Celestial Island.

Gersha Phillips is Costume Designer on this latest entry in the MCU directed by Julias Onah and this outfit was photographed alongside other screen-worn costumes from the film temporarily on display at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre on February 19, 2025.

The Hollywood theatre also featured life-size statues of Captain America and Red Hulk in its lobby for cinema goers to pose with.
