In this sequel, the story, cast and characters deal with the fallout of the real-life death of Chadwick Boseman, who played 'King T'Challa', who as the 'Black Panther' was the sovereign protector of the highly-advanced, hidden African nation of Wakanda, like his father before him.

In the MCU film T'Challa's genius sister 'Shuri' struggles with her sorrow, guilt and anger at her older brother's death from a mysterious illness, but when her home nation is threaten by the underwater denizens of Talokan, she dons a new super-suit (incorporating her signature panther-shaped gauntlets) and assumes the mantle of Black Panther to protect her people.

With the passing of her son, Angela Bassett's 'Ramonda' reassumed the mantle of Queen and tried to provide comfort and guidance to her daughter and a grieving nation.

She wears this regal costume when she defiantly addresses the United Nations assembly when a covert mission by another country attempts to acquire the highly-coveted metal ore with special properties, Vibranium, found in Wakanda.

You can also see another Queen Ramonda costume from Wakanda Forever that was recently on display at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre during the film's theatrical release.

On the big screen Tenoch Huerta brought the long-lived Mutant undersea king 'Namor' to life, who is possessed of super-strength and resilience that allow him to exist in the pressure and cold of the ocean's depths and ankle wings that allow him to fly in the air.

He wears this regal costume and headdress (inspired by Mesoamerican cultures) in the throne room of the underwater city of Talokan, which also harnesses the power of Vibranium in its technologies, clothing and weapons.

Make sure you check out these award-winning Wakanda Forever costumes on display at the El Capitan Theatre, plus enjoy these Oscar-winning Black Panther costume designs that garnered Ruth Carter her first Academy Award win.
