In Baz Luhrman's movie biopic, Elvis, Austin Butler plays the iconic "King of Rock and Roll". The film follows the music legend from his meteoric rise to fame to his unprecedented superstardom and chronicles his complicated relationship with his enigmatic manager, Colonel Tom Parker, and the love of this life, Priscilla. The biopic was nominated for eight Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Actor for Austin Butler and Best Costume Design for Catherine Martin.

This trio of Academy Award-nominated costumes from the movie biopic were photographed on display at the FIDM Museum in Downtown Los Angeles on March 7, 2023.
