The biographical musical drama film Respect follows the rise of Aretha Franklin's career and the first two decades of her life from the 1950s to the 1970s, from a child singing in her father's church choir to her international superstardom as the "Queen of Soul", with Jennifer Hudson starring as the music icon from Detroit.

This trio of exquisite gowns were photographed on display at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) Museum in Los Angeles on March 22, 2022.

Clint Ramos is the Costume Designer responsible for these glamorous looks recreating some of the icon's memorable stage looks.
