Marvel Studios adaptation of Jack Kirby's comic book creations, Eternals, is a real change of pace for the MCU and sees the long-lived guardians of humanity facing the reemergence of their ancient enemy, the Deviants. Angelina Jolie plays 'Thena', an elite warrior who can create energy weapons out of cosmic energy, one of the ten superpowered Eternals sent to Earth by the Celestial 'Arishem' on their starship, the Domo in 5000 BC.

I love Thena's battle style in the movie, her moves are so grateful and balletic, and her storyline which incorporates the Eternals psychological affliction, Mahd Wy'ry.

These screen-used costumes were photographed on display at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre on November 10, 2021.

The initial concepts for the Eternals super-suits came from Ryan Meinerding, Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development, with input from director Chloé Zhao and Costume Designer Sammy Sheldon Differ.
