Simu Liu's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings costume on display...

And we're back. Or are we? I don't really know, but I was so blown away by Marvel Studios Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings I had to mask up and see it again at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, where they also had some awesome costumes from the movie on display. The movie is a breath of fresh air for the MCU and its next action-packed phase. The charismatic Simu Liu is cast perfectly as Marvel's martial arts hero and he has great chemistry with his bestie 'Katy', played by Awkwafina. New heroes, new powers, new costumes, new threats and new worlds of martial arts and mysticism. What's not to like.

This screen-worn costume and bo staff adorned with dragon scales was photographed on display on September 13, 2021. MCU Concept Artist Andy Park worked on the concept look and Kym Barrett was Costume Designer on director Destin Daniel Cretton's film and you can see more of her work with these Aquaman movie costumes.
