'Ellen Martin' investigating an insurance fraud which leads her to a pair of
Panama City law partners,
Antonio Banderas 'Ramón Fonseca' and
Gary Oldman's 'Jürgen Mossack', who are exploiting the world's financial system for their and their clients own gain. The 2019 biographical comedy-drama is based on the
Panama Papers scandal, where the details of hundreds of thousands of offshore entities of wealthy individuals and public officials, that were used for fraud, tax evasion and dodging international sanctions, were published in April 2016.
