This October Batman's arch-foe the 'Joker' gets his own standalone origin movie starring Joaquin Phoenix as the mentally ill clown criminal. He plays 'Arthur Fleck', an aspiring stand-up comedian and clown-for-hire, who disregarded by society is destined to become one of DC's most sinister supervillains.
