Screen-used Marvel Cinematic Universe movie props on display...

In addition to a smorgasbord of costumes from Avengers: Endgame on display during its theatrical release, Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre also had an exhibit of selected screen-used props to pay homage to the last ten years and twenty-two films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the cinema's foyer along Hollywood Boulevard on May 1, 2019, there was the damaged Iron Man Mark 50 helmet from Avengers: Endgame in the spotlight, with the eye socket illuminated. In the movie Robert Downey Jr.'s 'Tony Stark' records what he think are his dying words into the helmet when he's floating in space.

Downstairs at the cinema there was a treasure trove of other film props on display, like the Eye of Agamotto from Doctor Strangewhich is also featured in Avengers: Endgame, worn by the Master of the Mystic Arts himself (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) and the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton).

Chris Pratt's 'Star-Lord' mask from the first GOTG movie was also featured in the exhibit and fans can also check out all these Guardians of the Galaxy film costumes.

This prop claimed to be Captain America's shield from Winter Soldier, even though the colour and finish appeared different from the usual red, white and blue.

The horned-helmet worn by Tom Hiddleston as 'Loki' and 'Thor's' hammer Mjolnir was also on display from the second solo big screen outing for the God of Thunder.

And bringing things full circle, this Mark II helmet from 2008's Iron Man which really started it all for the MCU was a part of the exhibition.

  1. The Infinity Gauntlet shown can't be the fake one that was in Odin's Vault from the first Thor movie. That Infinity Gauntlet is right handed. This is later reaffirmed in the third Thor movie, Thor: Ragnarok when Hela Pushes it over stating that it is fake. Whereas the real Infinity Gauntlet and the one shown in the picture above is left handed. So it could be the real Infinity Gauntlet.
