Natalie Portman and Gina Rodriguez Annihilation film costumes on display...

In Alex Garland's adaptation of Jeff Vandermeer's 2014 novel Annihilation, Natalie Portman plays a biologist called 'Lena', the wife of a soldier who returns gravely injured after he investigates a phenomenon called 'The Shimmer'. She leads a team of scientists and specialists, including Gina Rodriguez as 'Anya Thorensen', into this environmental disaster zone to find answers where evolution seems to have gone haywire.

UPDATED: Today when I actually watched Annihilation I took another look at the movie exhibit and realised those plant props were actually the evolved plant people props from the movie, which I had totally not noticed on the previous occasion. When you take a closer look you really can see their humanoid shapes which is very clever.
