Hela, Valkyrie, Loki and Thor: Ragnarok movie costumes on display...

The 26th annual Art of Motion Picture Costume Design Exhibition is taking place once again at Downtown L.A.'s FIDM Museum and these fantastical Thor: Ragnarok film costumes are part of the exhibit which houses over twenty-five movie wardrobes from the past twelve months, including all five Oscar nominees.

Mayes C. Rubeo was Costume Designer and Andy Park was Concept Artist on Taika Waititi's Marvel film which sees the Goddess of Death invade Asgard and Thor thrown into the far reaches of the cosmos.

Photographed on February 6, this exhibition runs until April 7, 2018 on Tuesdays to Saturdays, 10am to 5pm and admission if free to the public. In the past other Marvel Studios costumes on display have included these Doctor Strange film costumes.

Hela costume worn by Cate Blanchett

I absolutely adore this magnificent costume that Cate Blanchett wears as the Goddess of Death, 'Hela'. It's a wonderful and faithful translation of her iconic Thor comic book look.

Her antler headpiece is especially stunning and was 3D printed and then hand-finished by Ironhead Studios to crown her regal look.

Fans of the actress can also check out her Lady Tremaine costumes from Cinderella, her Carol movie costumes and her gown from Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

Valkyrie costume worn by Tessa Thompson

This is the armoured costume that Tessa Thompson wears as an Asgardian Valkyrie, but you can also check out her other darker Sakaarian Valkyrie scavenger costume from the film on display.

Grandmaster costume worn by Jeff Goldblum

Jeff Goldblum wore this colourful attire as the 'Grandmaster', an alien Elder of the Universe who ran the gladiatorial games on the planet of Sakaar.

Loki costume worn by Tom Hiddleston

in Thor: Ragnarok

Tom Hiddleston got an update on his Loki costume this movie although it still sports flourishes of his signature green. And if you like Thor's scheming step-brother and the God of Lies, then you can also check out his Loki movie costume from Thor: The Dark World.

Thor: Ragnarok costume worn by Chris Hemsworth

I've seen this costume worn by Chris Hemsworth on several occasions, his Asgardian costume that gets a Sakaarian makeover when he finds himself part of the gladiatorial games against his Avenger ally 'Hulk'.
