This spring beloved Japanese Manga comic series Ghost in the Shell by Masamune Shirow gets a big screen, live-action adaptation with Scarlett Johansson playing the cyborg counter-terrorism field commander, the 'Major'. If you can look past the whitewashing controversy of casting a caucasian actress in an infamous Asian role, the film looks like it's going to be a sci-fi visual spectacle.

The film directed by Rupert Sanders follows Scarlett Johansson's one-of-a-king human cyborg hybrid, the 'Major', who works for Section 9, an elite task force tasked with stopping the most dangerous criminals, extremists and hackers. This time she faces an enemy dedicated to wiping out Hanka Robotic's advancements in cyber technology.
