Ariane Labed's Assassin's Creed Maria film costume on display...

In Justin Kurzel's movie adaptation of the hot video game franchise Assassin's Creed, Michael Fassbender discovers that he has inherited the genetic memories and skills of his 15th century ancestor, 'Aguilar', a Master Assassin during the ties of the Spanish Inquisition. Here's the costume worn by his fellow assassin 'Maria' played by Ariane Labed in the action adventure movie.

This elaborate hooded female warrior costume was designed by Sammy Sheldon collaborating with production armourer Tim Wildgoose and was photographed on display at ArcLight Sherman Oaks cinema on December 12, 2016.

It was amazing to see the intricate detail of this costume up close, from the feathered neck to the pouches and weapons and assassin's tools integrated into the look. I also loved getting a closer look at Maria's bladed star weapon, which I'm sure is deadly in action.
