Joker, Harley Quinn and Deadshot Suicide Squad movie costumes on display...

Suicide Squad may not be proving to be a hit with movie critics (although it's doing okay at the box office), but I'm sure come Halloween and at upcoming comic conventions these 'Deadshot', 'Harley Quinn' and 'Joker' costumes will be instant fan favourites.

This trio of costumes from the latest DC Comics movie designed by Kate Hawley and worn by Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto were photographed on display at ArcLight Hollywood cinema on August 13, 2016.

Fortunately I also got to see some of these Suicide Squad film costumes on display on the Warner Bros. Studios Backlot Tour out of their reflective cases, but I'd not seen this particular Joker costume before (although I think it was at this year's San Diego Comic-Con).

In the film, the DC Universe's most deadly killers, mercenaries and criminals are recruited by a shadowy government agent for 'Task Force X', or the 'Suicide Squad', to take on deadly covert missions in exchange for more lenient prison sentences. One of those drafted is the elite marksman and assassin 'Deadshot' aka 'Floyd Lawton', played by Will Smith.

This was certainly better lighting than the last time I saw this body-armoured costume, but for more detail of his wrist gauntlets and another mask with monocle be sure to check out this Deadshot film costume on display.

I didn't want to include too many photos of the psychotic Harley Quinn's movie costume as I've previously posted a 360° view of this particular outfit, including the back of her jacket and more of her film props on display at WB Studios. However these pictures do show her unique jester-hat skull ring and the heart-shaped lock on the back of her 'Puddin' neck strap.

I previously saw Joker's tuxedo costume on display, so it was cool to see this more outlandish and garish version from the film worn by Harley's maniacal paramour. The bat-signal tights are an especially crazy touch for Batman's arch-enemy. He may not have been in the movie as much as people would have liked, but he certainly made an impression with his attire.

If you like this insane outfit, be sure to check out Heath Ledger's Joker costumes from The Dark Knight too.
