Jennifer Saunders reprises her role as
'Edina Monsoon', one half of the iconic comedy duo
'Patsy & Eddie', now starring in their first big screen outing,
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie. Based on a 1990 sketch with her comedy partner on their
BBC show
French & Saunders, the sitcom (also known as
Ab Fab) about a hard-drinking, youth-obsessed PR agent, with bad taste in high fashion and her hard-partying, long-time friend and enabler, '
Patsy Stone' (played by
Joanna Lumley), first ran for three seasons from 1992 to 1995, then spawned countless extra series and one-off specials.

Garish designer labels are favoured by
Eddie but she rarely looks good in them and this outlandish costume from the film (from 2001 to 2004 TV
Series Costume Designer Rebecca Hale), was photographed on display at
ArcLight Hollywood cinema on June 29, 2016 (although it looks like
Patsy's costume may have gone walkabout, as there's space in that display cabinet for two mannequins).
In the comedy caper, the partners-in-crime are still shopping, drinking and clubbing their way around
London's trendiest hot-spots when a major incident at a high-profile party leads the pair to flee to the
French Riviera to escape the paparazzi.
