Skovox Blitzer and more Doctor Who costumes from The Caretaker...

In the eighteen season of the current Doctor Who revival, the 'Twelfth Doctor' (Peter Capaldi) and his time and space traveling Companion, 'Clara Oswald' (Jenna Coleman), faced off against this alien killing machine in the halls of Cole Hill School in 'The Caretaker' episode. And whilst not all episodes are created equal, it's nice to see that the production design on the beloved 50-year-old British science fiction series have improved enormously from the begone days of wobbly sets and dodgy 'Bertie Bassett' Kandyman aliens.

This fantastic mechanical robot prop was photographed on display at the Doctor Who Experience exhibit in Cardiff Bay, Wales on April 20, 2015.

In the episode the Doctor poses as the school's caretaker, 'John Smith', where Clara is a teacher, so also on display with this Skovox Blitzer was a selection of costumes worn by Jenna Coleman, Samuel Anderson (as 'Danny Pink') and the Coal Hill school uniform of Ellis George as 'Courtney Woods'.
