In the biopic
Love & Mercy, Paul Dano and
John Cusack give a powerful dual performance as
Beach Boys leader,
'Brian Wilson', respectively as his younger self in the 1960's and his older self in the 1980's. In the 60's he struggles with his emerging psychosis when creating his pop masterpiece, whilst in the 80's he is broken and confused under the 24-hour care of the shady therapist,
'Dr. Eugene Landy' (played by
Paul Giamatti).

Costume Designer and responsible for recreating the period looks in
Love & Mercy, and you can also see his
Oscar-nominated
costumes in the movie biopic Milk.
This costume exhibit for the movie was photographed on display at
ArcLight Hollywood cinema on May 30, 2015 (although I think that the striped 60's shirt should have been tucked into the trousers).
