Luke Evans film costume from Dracula Untold on display...

In last year's Dracula Untold, Universal Studios launched their opening salvo in their unified movie monster franchise cinematic universe, with Luke Evans playing a young 'Vlad the Impaler' in the origin story of the infamous vampire and Lord of Darkness. To defend his kingdom from the invading Turks, 'Prince Vlad Tepes' must seek a terrible power and become a monster to protect his family and people.

This regal armoured Vlad costume designed by Ngila Dickson (who won an Oscar for her work on 2003's The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King) was worn by Luke Evans in the movie and was photographed on display (with difficulty behind that curved, reflective glass) at the NBC Universal Experience archive exhibit at Universal Studios Hollywood on January 20, 2015.

If you're a fan of the Welsh actor, be sure to also check out Luke Evans Zeus film costume from 2011's Immortals.

Also included within the exhibit for the film was this ornate cup, which I'm sure was filled with blood at some stage.

If you're a fan of vampires and the supernatural, be sure to also check out Gary Oldman's Dracula prosthetics and castle model from Francis Ford Coppola's 1992 film version, plus these original costumes and prosthetics from 2010's remake of The Wolfman.
