Lindy Hemming was responsible for updating the look of Bane for his latest big screen outing. His militaristic style is a great improvement, along with the portrayal of the character overall, from the brainless muscle-bound Bane that appeared in Joel Schumacher's 1997 critical flop, Batman & Robin.
