Movie costumes, masks and props at the London Film Museum...

I can't believe it's almost been a year since I visited the London Film Museum on January 25, 2011, and finally here's the last collection of assorted costumes, masks and props on display at the fantastic movie attraction.

Amongst the eclectic sci-fi, comic book, period drama and comedy memorabilia was this fantastic special effect shirt with its impacted bullets worn by Robert Patrick as the 'T1000 Terminator' from the future in 1991's Terminator sequel.

Next up is the colourful pink patchwork jacket worn in the 2005 sci-fi movie, Serenity, by Jewel Stait as the Firefly-class ship's mechanic 'Kaylee Frye'.

Matt Murdock's blind cane prop

Also on display was the extendable cane prop used by Ben Affleck as the blind attorney, 'Matt Murdock' and his vigilante superhero alter-ego, in the 2003 adaptation of Marvel Comics Daredevil. I love the devil's head detail at the top of the cane.

Machete used by James McAvoy in Wanted
Wanted machete prop
Keeping to props, this machete was used by James McAvoy as an assassin-in-training, 'Wesley Gibson' in the 2008 comic book movie, Wanted, when he's trained by the Fraternity's 'Butcher'.

Also on display throughout the museum included this prosthetic mask from Stanley Kubrick's genre defining sci-fi movie from 1968, 2001: A Space Odyssey, with that iconic Dawn of Man scene with the apes when they discover the black monolith and subsequently discover how to use a bone as a weapon and a tool.

Stuart Freeborn was responsible for the realistic creature effects on the groundbreaking movie.

Suit worn by Peter Sellers in The Prisoner of Zenda

Finally, this cream lambswool suit was worn by Peter Sellers as Ruthenian 'King Rudolph V' of in the 1979 comedy version of The Prisoner of Zenda, designed by Sue Yelland.
