Fantastic costumes from Disney's Alice in Wonderland movie...

It's always a thrill to see actual costumes on display from a movie you've seen at the cinema, especially when they are such a spectacle as these colourful and extremely detailed creations from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland.

In addition to a fantastic array of original props from the movie and The Mad Hatter's costume worn by Johnny Depp, the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood also had this wonderful collection of exclusive outfits from the Disney film.

In addition to two intricate Hatter women costumes on display they also had the black and red outfit worn by Crispin Glover as the Red Queen's eye-patch wearing Knave of Hearts, 'Stayne'.

The Colleen Atwood designed costumes were amazing to see up close and included outfits worn by courtiers of both the White Queen and Red Queen.

  2. Amazing costumes! My prom dress is going to be like a girly modern evening version of a Mad Hatter girl, so those dresses are really inspiring. In about two months' time I'll be posting prom images up on my blog! So excited and inspired :D
