More original Frost/Nixon film costumes on display...

These wonderful original costumes are from Ron Howard's 2008 movie retelling the famous post-Watergate television interviews in 1977 between former President Richard Nixon and charismatic British talk show host, David Frost.

The movie was nominated for five Oscars at the 81st Annual Academy Awards, including Best Director, Best Picture, Best Editing, Best Writing: Screenplay based on material previously produced or published for Peter Morgan (who had adapted the story from his critically acclaimed stage version) and Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for Frank Langella, who reprised his award-winning theatre role as disgraced former 'President Richard Nixon'.

Daniel Orlandi was responsible for these late-70's inspired outfits in the movie adaptation and he has recently handled costume design on The Blind Side and Angels & Demons movies.

The costume exhibit features a characteristic look for Patricia McCormack as former First Lady 'Pat Nixon' and retirement clothes worn by Frank Langella as President Nixon.
The photograph above also features a gold dress worn by Renee Zellweger in the Bridget Jones movie sequel (on the far right).
