During the
COVID-19 pandemic viewers were fascinated by
Netflix's Tiger King docu-series, which explored the feud between
Carole Baskin, a big-cat rescuer, and
Joe Exotic, a
Greater Wynnewood Zoo owner and cub-breeder. The
Peacock original scripted series further explored these eccentric personalities and their decade-long fight which turned them into lifelong enemies and resulted in an attempted murder. The show is based on the sophomore season of
Wondery's "Over My Dead Body" podcast and stars
John Cameron Mitchell and
Kate McKinnon in the titular roles.

Amelia Gebler was Costume Designer on the Peacock show with Christina Valadakis was Costume Supervisor.
If you're looking for a couple costume this Halloween I still think this oddball duo would make for a great combination (just add a stuffed tiger toy for authenticity).
