This costume and instrument prop exhibit for the movie was photographed on display at ArcLight Hollywood cinema on December 21, 2012. Unfortunately the display didn't have it's own light source which made photography difficult in the evening.

Ridley Scott's 1991 road trip movie Thelma & Louise, starring the magnificent Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, was a genre defining piece of cinematic history and this is the iconic 1966 Ford Thunderbird Convertible that featured in the movie.

One of many identical cars used in the filming of the movie, apparently this turquoise Thunderbird was used primarily for close-up shots and was obviously not the car that went over the Arizona desert cliff at the end of the movie.

Promised Land movie costumes and props on display...

In 2013's Promised Land, Matt Damon plays a corporate salesman for a natural gas company who arrives in an economically hit small rural town with his partner (Frances McDormand) to negotiate the drilling rights for his company. His life is changed when he discovers not everyone is as happy to accept their offer as they first thought.

This extensive costume and prop display for the modern day drama, which features Costume Design by Juliet Polcsa, was photographed on display within the ArcLight Hollywood cinema foyer on December 21, 2012.

In the movie Frances McDormand plays Matt Damon's sales partner, 'Sue Thomason'. These clothes she wore in the movie were displayed beside her prop I.D. cards, sunglasses and Global Crosspower Solutions folder.

In addition to all these great costumes, the exhibit also had lots of props from the film including diner menus, business documents, a local newspaper and more besides.

There is a veritable cornucopia of movie costumes and props on display around L.A. in this holiday season of blockbuster movies, but fortunately there's also room for exhibits from smaller movies like On The Road, based on the adventures of Jack Kerouac driving across the U.S. in the 1940's.

Adapted from the notable author's famous 1957 novel of the same name, the film follows the exploits of a young writer 'Sal Paradise' (Sam Riley) whose life is transformed by the arrival of the free-spirited 'Dean Moriarty' (Garrett Hedlund) and his girl 'Marylou' (Kristen Stewart).
