Transformers: The Last Knight movie costumes on display...

When I first saw this display of Middle Ages costumes from Transformers: The Last Knight I did pause for a minute and think, were there any actual costumes in the movie or was it all CGI? Then I remembered, yes there was a time travel flashback element to the past, and these Saxon warrior costumes look even more impressive and menacing up close and in person.

These elaborate costume armours from the fifth installment in the toy-turned-movie franchise, designed by FIDM alumna Lisa Lovaas, were photographed on display at L.A.'s Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising Museum on February 6, 2018.

Fans of the robots-in-disguise action franchise can also enjoy all these other Transformers costumes, props and vehicles from the previous live-action movies.
