Emmy-nominated American Horror Story: Hotel TV costumes on display...

In the fifth season of American Horror Story, after the gruesome happenings at murder houses, insane asylums, witches covens and circus freakshows, the action took place in the mysterious and enigmatic Hotel Cortez setting in Downtown L.A. The horror anthology series also welcomed Lady Gaga to its ranks as 'Elizabeth Johnson aka The Countess', a resident of the hotel and a vampire over 100 years old.

In addition to bloodsuckers, the hotel is also frequented by demons and ghosts, including the heroin junkie 'Sally McKenna' played by AHS regular Sarah Poulson.

Another resident of the hotel is the eccentric transgender bartender of the Blue Parrot Lounge, 'Liz Taylor', played by Denis O'Hare, given his makeover and name by the Countess.

Finally the handsome Matt Bomer played 'Donovan', a former drug addict infected with the vampire virus and and twenty year long lover of the Countess.

Emmy-nominated RuPaul gowns from RuPaul's Drag Race on display...

To celebrate the start of the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars and garner votes for the Emmy-nominated costumes from the reality drag queen competition, LASC men's clothing store in West Hollywood currently has a fabulous display of the Glamazon's show-stopping gowns on display in its windows.

This year for the first time the iconic drag queen RuPaul is nominated for an Emmy award for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program for the show's seventh season, whilst Zaldy Goco is nominated for Outstanding Costume Design for RuPaul's gowns.

This glamorous drag gown window installation along Santa Monica Boulevard was created by ChadMichael Morrisette (of Oh Mannequin) and Mito Aviles, and you can often see their work in the skies of West Hollywood with head-turning rooftop mannequin displays along Fountain Avenue.

Now start your engines and get ready for the latest season of RuPaul's Drag Race (and keep everything crossed, and tucked, for an Emmy win or two this September).
